Jewelmer Joaillerie celebrates the reopening of its boutique this July 2, 2015 at the Ayala Center in Cebu City.
The French-Filipino luxury brand, which was established in 1979 by French pearl farmer Jacques Branellec and Filipino entrepreneur Manuel Cojuangco, aims to establish a stronger presence in Cebu through its recent shop renovation.
“We would like to strengthen this relationship by getting more acquainted with the Cebuanos,” said Jewelmer Joaillerie Deputy CEO Jacques Christophe Branellec, “We have strong ties to Cebu, as it is where most of our people in the farm come from. Cebuanos not just appreciate the beauty of the pearl, but they also understand its importance.”
The brand opened its first boutique in the lobby of The Manila Peninsula in 1985, and has grown steadily to operate 12 shops around the country. Jewelmer Joaillerie’s stores possess an aesthetic that is described as a blend of French elegance and Filipino artistry.
